About BinaryHeart at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
BinaryHeart at Rose-Hulman is a student-run chapter dedicated to bridging the digital divide through technology recycling and refurbishment in the Terre Haute community.
As part of the larger BinaryHeart organization, our mission at Rose-Hulman is to collect, repair, and donate computers and other electronic devices to students, schools, and organizations in need throughout the Terre Haute area.
Our Mission
We believe that access to technology is a fundamental right in today's digital age. Our mission is to empower Rose-Hulman students and the Terre Haute community by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
Our Impact
Through our work at Rose-Hulman, we help students access educational resources, participate in remote learning, and develop crucial digital literacy skills. We're also proud to contribute to environmental sustainability by keeping electronics out of landfills and giving them a second life in our community.
